Cowgirl and princess

Here are a couple new pics of Liv. We were playing dress-up after her bath the other night.

I didn't realize that a 21-month old could be so demanding about things like shoes. We were at Target the other day looking for some shoes for her. She saw a pair of Dora sneakers, grabbed them, and yelled "Dora!" They didn't have her size, but she insisted on trying them on anyway. Then she tried to put them in the shopping cart. I told her she couldn't have them because they didn't fit. (I was thankful they didn't have her size, because, honestly, I am not a fan of the kids shoes with cartoon characters on them.) I then offered her another selection. She firmly told me "No. Dora!" We left without shoes.

Granny and Papaw made a last-minute trip to visit us this weekend. Liv was thrilled to see them, especially since Granny brought her a pair of Dora sneakers. (Thanks mom.) It was such a beautiful day, we went to the park.

After that, we went to what I call "The Dead Zoo." I know some people might be offended by a place that displays dead, stuffed animals, and it actually bothered me a little at first. But then I figured that the animals are already dead so we might as well enjoy looking at them. Liv loves animals -- and doesn't seem to care if they are dead or alive, although she did want to feed and pet them.

Liv is excited about getting to spend 6 days with Granny and Papaw next week. Sean and I are taking a much needed trip -- to Vegas, of course.
