Alive and Kickin'

I know it has been a record-setting long time since my last post (especially since one that actually said something, rather than just pictures). We have been very busy around here...busy chasing a 15 month old. If I could just bottle some of her energy, I would be a rich woman. She is on the move every waking minute. It is exhausting. So here's what has been going on with Liv lately:

We had her 15-month doctor's appointment last week. She weighed 21 pounds and was 30 inches tall -- that's 50th percentile for height and just under 50th for weight. She has a mouthful of teeth now and insist on feeding herself everything, even yogurt, which is quite the mess. Her favorite food is peanut butter and jelly sandwiches (she gets that from her daddy). She also loves cheese. Her vocabulary is expanding, and we really have to watch our language now. Her favorite TV shows are Barney and Blue's Clues. She has developed a really high-pitched squeal that she uses indiscriminately and frequently. It will make your toes curl, and it sends the dogs running. The good news is that she is so active during the day that she sleeps like a rock.

She loves to be outside, but it has been so hot here that we don't get to go out as much as she would like. She especially likes to play with the water hose (with no regard for the drought).

Her Grammy Mary gave Sean a travel dvd player for his birthday. Liv loves it.

And finally, Liv is such a daddy's girl. They have even been know to go golfing together.
