Much overdue, let me tell you about our recent trip to Wisconsin and Chicago. It was a whirlwind of a trip, but we had a great time (despite the terrible weather that plagued us the entire time). We flew into Chicago on Wednesday morning and made the 3+ hour drive up to Fond du Lac, WI to visit Grammy Mary, Aunt Molly, and the twins . . . oh, and Bobee (the dog).
Wednesday night, we all went to dinner. Here is the crew practicing the "Hook'em Horns" sign.

Grammy Mary has a French bulldog named Bobee. There are no pics of him because he did not care of Liv one bit. He did not appreciate anyone taking the attention away from him. Despite that, Liv still loved him and tried very hard to be his friend.

And here is Liv and Taylor and Thane. I think we should call them "T-n-T." Liv probably learned a thing or two from them!

On Thursday, we went shopping in Kohler and had Mexican food in Sheboygan. Nothing says Mexican food like Sheboygan.
On Friday, we went to Milwaukee, where Sean played golf with some of his buddies from high school. Liv and I hung out with one of the guys' wife and two kids. We went to the Milwaukee zoo, but I failed to get any good photos.
On Saturday, Sean played golf again. Liv and I met up with the Ducks for Walleye Weekend - the only festival in the world to not serve funnel cake or anything on a stick. It was so great to see old friends, even if she is 7 months knocked up and barely showing.

She got to meet two new cousins, Evan and Nicky. She and Evan (in orange) quickly became best buds.
And, of course, she also fell in love with crazy Aunt Judy. Here they are playing the piano. It was quite lovely (i.e. loud).

On Sunday, we said goodbye to the Wisconsinites and headed south to Chicago (or thereabouts). Liv got to meet her great-grandmother for the first time.

And there was Fever. Fever is the most winning English Setter in the country. She is such a doll, and Liv just loved her.

Finally, on Sunday night, we met some of my old friends and their two gorgeous boys for famous Chicago stuffed pizza (yum!). We then flew back home early Monday morning.
************************Fast forward two weeks: My cousin June Bug, and her girls, Brooke and Brenna came to Austin for a few days. We went to Seaworld, and, despite the heat, had so much fun. Here they are excited to see Shamu Rocks Texas.
Although I am very anti-public swimsuit, we enjoyed cooling down at the waterpark. (That is until we had to evacuate because some kid took a dump in the wave pool.)
Liv was very excited to see the flamigos. She frequently practices her flamingo stance (as see below), and just had to show them how it was done.
