Christmas is truly special this year. At 3 1/2 years old, Liv understands everything that is going on and truly enjoys it.* We are trying to do as many "Christmas" things as Sean and I can tolerate. Friday night, we went to the Trail of Lights. While we went last year, she had a much better appreciation of it this time around. (Although her "aching feet" resulted in Sean carrying her on his shoulders for the whole 1.5 miles.) Here she is in her festive dress that Mimi made.

And spinning under the
Zilker tree:

And tonight we made our first gingerbread house.

Here is a close-up. I made a sidewalk out of what was supposed to be the chimney (oops).

And of course, here is a pic of Lucy enjoying the fire.

And our two girls:

I hope you all enjoy the holidays as much as we are!

Merry Christmas! Glad you are enjoying all the festivities with Liv and the furry siblings -- I love all of Liv's holiday outfits. I think Liv is old enough to really enjoy Disney World now, where I could drive down and finally get to meet her! : )
Mason sends a belated friendly bulldog snort to Lucy and recommends that Stanley buys her a bulldog bed from www.dura-bulldogbedz.com
for Christmas. (As a puppy, Mason peed on and/or chewed the zippers off about five dog beds, and now in his old age he has a bad habit of barfing, so this lined bed/washable cover has been great.)
