We celebrated Christmas at home - no traveling - and it was wonderfully simple and stress free. Mimi, Papa, Aunt Meg, and her boyfriend Joey shared Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with us. We grazed on tamales and ham and sweets as far as the eye could see.
My family's tradition has always been to open the gifts under the tree (the ones we give to each other) on Christmas Eve, leaving Christmas Day for Santa's gifts. Olivia opened one present early in the day and decided to wear it for the remainder. I called her our little Sugar Plum Fairy.
She even entertained us with a song.
Christmas morning, Olivia was very excited to see what Santa delivered.
And Santa is in trouble for bringing her roller skates!
I attempted to photograph the whole family, and despite the grumbling among the men, I was able to get a few good ones.

We hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas as well.
