I can't believe that two years have passed since we brought Miss Liv home for good. My baby is growing up and it kind of makes me sad. Terrible twos and all, I love this age. I love that she can communicate. I love that she can do things for herself. I love that her own personality shows in everything she does. She is smart, sassy, bossy, and incredibly sweet and affectionate. There is nothing better in this world than when she walks up to me and gives me a big hug and kiss for no reason and without me asking for it.
Saturday was her birthday. We had a fabulous party. Despite non-stop rain Friday night into Saturday morning, the sun started shining just as the party began. We had a petting zoo and a pony. So much fun! Liv LOVED the pony. She rode it at least 30 times. Although I had intended to have the party outside on our wonderful new deck, we decided it would be cleaner to keep it indoors (even though it wasn't raining, the ground was very wet). Liv got tons of wonderful presents -- she loves each and every one.

With her new kitchen (I am not sure how she even knows what it is for since she has never seen me in the kitchen):
Trying out her new playscape -- it was so urgent she didn't even have time to get dressed:
The weekend before her birthday, Sean's dad and stepmom came to celebrate with us. We have a fun trip to the Austin Zoo.
