A bedtime story (from hell)

Why is out baby for sale? Below is a photo essay explaining the situation as it unfolded last night. In short, Grumpa and Bunny (Tom & Cindy) arrived Saturday night. Until then, Liv had been a pretty good baby--sleeping most of the night--only waking every three hours to eat. Saturday night, however, the tides turned. She stayed up screaming until 3 a.m., dosed off, only to wake up at 5:00. A fluke, I assumed, until last night.

At 1:00 a.m. I realized it was going to be a long night.

Her eyes are wide open and show no signs of closing...despite swinging, rocking, walking, etc.

Around 1:30, we decide it is time for ice cream. Luckily, we had made a stop at Amy's earlier in the evening.

Sean hung in there with me until about 2:00 a.m.

Stanley kept us company.

We finally went to bed around 3:30 a.m. (at that point, I was in no mood to take more pictures). We were back up around 5:30. It is now 11:15 a.m., and she is still awake. I am not sure how she plans to function on two hours sleep, but it is really not for me.
