Seriously, the MIL left this morning for the very long drive back to Wisconsin. We had a wonderful visit, but I must say I am looking forward to going home to a quiet house this evening. After dark last night, we helped her load her truck with all her Texas loot. Thankfully, I am a master packer (I once moved an entire apartment in my Ford Escort). Here are a couple of photos of the fabulous painted furniture she got at the City Wide Garage Sale. I just love it!
And here is a photo from this morning of our packing job. There is a giant candelabra that just wouldn't fit. It is now residing in my family room, and looks pretty darn good there.
