Dear God:
I am sorry that I used 800 cans of hairspray in high school. I am sorry that I drive a gas-guzzling SUV. I am sorry that I don't recycle more. I understand that I have done my part to destroy the ozone layer, whatever that is. But, why, for the love of you, must it be 108 degrees on September 24th? It is just not right that the hottest day of the year occurred at the end of September. It is time for closed-toe shoes, boots, cute suede bags, maybe even a light sweater. It is time that I am able to walk to my car without needing to reapply deodorant. I love Texas, but I have heard of this thing called Fall or Autumn. What is it exactly and can we have a little before December?
Love,
Dunkin, who is thinking that Wisconsin really doesn't sound so bad right about now.
